PFA's approach to all of its advisories is unique. In each instance, technical experts are called upon in a robust integrative framework of integrating that translates this information into financial analysis commonly used by multilateral lenders (MLAs) and export credit agencies (ECA). PFA is adept at knowing what aspects of any project require further financial analysis and structuring such projects to qualify for each ECA's unique program requirements.
PFA has worked extensively with electrical engineering, renewable energy and prominent international law firms in the United States and abroad to perform financial, technical, legal and regulatory analysis around the globe.
PFA has worked extensively with the law firm of DLA Piper in Morocco, Northern Africa and Central America. DLA Piper has wide-ranging experience in international and domestic project finance and related transactions, including significant experience in the electric power sector.
PFA has also teamed recently teamed with Electrotek Concepts Inc of Virginia to perform complex electrical interconnection studies among the northern countries of Africa. Electrotek was founded to solve utility and industrial customer power system problems by implementing the efficient generation, transmission, distribution, and use of energy. PFA has also worked with the renewable energy experts in Southeastern Europe. And the current principals of EnCon Services. EnCon Services International and EnCon Services Ltd. were established in United States and Bulgaria, respectively, to develop industrial and municipal energy efficiency and renewable energy projects throughout Southeast Europe, Central Europe, and other countries in transition throughout Europe and Eurasia.
As sub-contractor and prime, PFA has assisted Parsons Energy and Booz Allen Hamilton in numerous assignments for US aid agencies such as the United States Agency for International Development, the United States Trade and Development Agency, World Bank and other MLAs.
